As you probably know, Denmark is a fairly small country that sits on top of Germany. So where am I? Pretty much, I’m living on the beach! It is impossible to be very far from the beach when you are in Denmark because it has water on almost all sides. Even more so because Copenhagen is actually on an island. And I’m on an even smaller island right next door. I live on Amager, which the Danish say as “am-are.”
On the left is the North Sea, which serves as Denmark’s western coast. On their East Coast is the Baltic Sea.
Here is a closer picture where you can see Amager. As promised, it is right next to Copenhagen.
The beach is beautiful! Amager Strand (Amager beach) was only made recently, but it’s a stunning area.
